Yuri Yoshida has completed her PhD degree from University of Delaware and Postdoctoral studies from University of Utah. She is an Assistant Professor at University of Evansville. Dr. Zhou has received his bachelor degree of medicine and master degree in orthopaedic spinal surgery in China during the periods of 1979 to 1984 and 1987 to 1990. He completed an orthopaedic residency and spine fellowship in China before moving to the United States. He worked for several years as a visiting scholar at MCP Hahnemann University, before completing his second residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Pennsylvania. After that, he received his pain fellowship training at Thomas Jefferson University. He is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and is also board certified in Pain Management. Dr. Zhou has extensive experience in the basic and clinical research and with the diagnosis and treatment of spinal and musculoskeletal disorders, and various pain syndromes. His research has included cryoanalgesia, spinal dorsal ramus anatomy and clinical implication, cervicogenic headache, pudendal neuralgia. Dr. Zhou teaches in several medical universities as a professor, and has published more than 40 articles and chapters. He is serving as an editorial member of several journals and expert Reviewers for Journals like Neuromodulation. He also invented several medical devices and received numerous awards and honours.

His research has included cryoanalgesia, spinal dorsal ramus anatomy and clinical implication, cervicogenic headache, pudendal neuralgia.

Dr. Hao (Howe) Liu received his MS (Neuroanatomy) and MD degrees in China, PhD (Anatomy) and MPT degrees from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He joined the Physical Therapy Program at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) in January 2010 from the University of Central Arkansas. As an Associate Professor of Physical Therapy at the UNTHSC, he teaches, as the course coordinator, Functional Anatomy, Pathology/Pharmacology, and Evidence-Based Practice (I-IV). He also taught Gross Anatomy, Neuroscience, Applied Histology, Pathology, & Physiology, Differential Diagnosis, Cardiopulmonary Rehab, and International Study (Alternative Medicine) of Physical Therapy when he was in the University of Central Arkansas. Dr. Liu has spent his research career in neuroscience, anatomy and physical therapy, but in last 10 years his research centers more on balance improvement and fall prevention among older individuals (primarily) and clinical anatomy of the musculoskeletal system in Gross Anatomy lab (secondarily). More specifically, he has led his geriatric research group (faculty members, PhD and DPT students) with focuses on 1) effects of inappropriate use of assistive ambulatory devices (AADs) on gait, balance, and posture; 2) interventions with combination of physical therapy exercise and alternative medicine to improve gait, balance, strength, and posture in general older population, AAD users, and patient-specific older population; and 3) bioengineering modification and testing of assistive ambulatory devices. Dr. Liu is active in providing community services to local senior living communities. When he was a faculty member in Arkansas, he and his team had provided geriatric rehabilitation related community services to nine senior living communities every year for 6 years. Currently, he is recruiting retirement centers and assisted living facilities in North Texas area for his studies and community services.

Dr. Chow is a lifestyle scientist for sleep. She leads a team of research students who contribute to understanding the role of glycemic index on sleep. The findings have major implications for people with sleep initiation difficulty, since a dietary approach could potentially help these people. Dr.Chow has mentored many research higher degree students, who are making important contributions to knowledge and will go on to make broader contributions to society. She is a director of Sleep Research Team.

She has had a long standing interest in sleep health research with a focus on the impact of dietary factors, exercise, nocturnal thermal factors on sleep initiation and maintenance.

Dr Bryan Steward completed his Batchelor of Science (Kinesiology) in California State University and completed his doctorate in Azusa Pacific University.He has been the Center Therapy Director at Concentra Medical Center, Placentia, CA. Presently he is the Clinic Director in California Rehabilitation and Sports Therapy, Brea, CA and Chief Representative of California Physical Therapy Association.

Dr. Andrea Trescot is a board certified Interventional Pain Physician and Director of the Pain and Headache Centers, Alaska. Dr. Trescot is the Past President of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. Her distinguished resume includes Directorship of Pain Fellowships at the University of Washington School Of Medicine and at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Previous to those world renowned leadership roles, Dr. Trescot practiced for 10 years as an Interventional Pain Physician in Orange Park, Florida (a suburb of Jacksonville). She graduated from the University of Florida with a BS (honors) in zoology. Having finished college in 3 years, she worked as a laboratory technician for a year before starting medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. After graduating from medical school, she started her military career as an intern and resident at the National Naval Medical Center at Bethesda in the department of anesthesia. After a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at the National Children’s Hospital in Washington, she was stationed at the Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. Dr. Trescot has authored various publications on the field of Interventional Pain Management and most recently co-authored and published the acclaimed \"Pain-Wise, a Patients Guide to Pain Management.\"

Dr. Fekete holds a Doctorate in Health Sciences from A.T. Still University and the Arizona School of Health Sciences, a Master’s in Business Management Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University in Health Science. Dr. Fekete is a member in several professional societies, including the American College of Epidemiology, Society of Human Resource Management and the American Society of Safety Engineers. He is a Board Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).Dr. Fekete has been a practicing epidemiologist, safety engineer and health professional for over thirty years in the field of occupational health, toxicology, environmental and risk management.

His research includes studies on the Insulation Properties of Protective Suits Used in the Nuclear Field and Their Effects on Worker Heat Stress, Hazardous Materials Management and the Epidemiology of Food Borne Illnesses Related to Beverage Can Contamination.

Dr. Ellen Glickman is a recognized expert in the area of environmental physiology with ~76 original, full-length papers in scientific journals, 3 technical reports and 1 Book Chapter. She is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine, a reviewer for many of the top journals in her field, including Medicine in Science and Sport and Exercise, European Journal of Applied Physiology and Occupational Physiology and Aviation Space and Environmental Medicine. She has been an invited lecturer at numerous national (i.e., The American College of Sports Medicine, Wilderness Medical Society) and International Conferences (International Conference of Environmental Ergonomics (ICEE), Oxford University Roundtable, government research laboratories (i.e., Brooks AFB, US Army Research Institute Environmental Medicine USARIEM) and Universities. In 2001, The Wilderness Medical Society Awarded Dr. Glickman their Research Award for their Outstanding Scientist. Most recently, Dr. Glickman has partnered with Orbital Research Inc., (Cleveland, OH) a STEM initiative, to enhance our knowledge in the area of environmental physiology with technology to better understand human physiology. Dr. Glickman received her Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh from 1989 -1995. She was part of the Department of Kinesiology at Louisiana State University and had an environmental physiology laboratory at Pennington Biomedical Research Center. In 1995 Dr. Glickman joined the faculty at Kent State University and has continued her work in acute cold exposure. She started at USARIEM as a National Research Council Scientist and continues to serve as a contract employee with USARIEM as part of the Military Nutrition Division. Finally, Dr. Glickman has been Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator on numerous externally funded projects during her time at Kent State University. Dr. Glickman has served as Interim Associate Dean of Graduate Studies, at Kent State University.

Dr. Alan Menter was born in England and is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa. He completed his dermatology residency at Pretoria General Hospital at the University of Pretoria, also in South Africa, and two fellowships in London at Guy's Hospital and St. John's Hospital for Diseases of the Skin. A fellowship with the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas brought Menter to the United States. Since then, he has held several positions within the UT and Baylor University Dallas systems. In 1992, he was appointed chairman of the Division of Dermatology at Baylor University Medical Center and still holds that position. In 2007, he was appointed director of the Baylor Research Center and in 2010, Program Director of the newly formed Dermatology Residency Program at Baylor University Medical Center.

Dr. Ghohestani completed his internship in surgery at Pennsylvania Hospital, the Nation’s first hospital and one of the top 100 hospitals in U.S. He then did a residency in dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University, one of the top dermatology programs in the country. He obtained a master’s degree in Cutaneous Biology, Cosmetology, and Skin Pharmacology, and a Ph.D. in Skin Immunobiology from Claude Bernard University , one of the top Universities in France. He was mentored by professors Jean Thivolet, Alan Claudy, and Jean Francois Nicolas. Dr. Ghohestani then did a Molecular Biology fellowship at the Nice School of Medicine, Nice, France. Dr. Ghohestani served as the principal investigator and team leader for many years at various Academic Institutes. His research was funded by the National Institute of Health, the Dermatology Foundation, and the American Skin Association, among others. Dr. Ghohestani was on Faculty as an Assistant and then Associate Professor at Thomas Jefferson University (1998 – 2007) before moving to San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Ghohestani is a former Chief and Associate Professor of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Ghohestani has been recently selected as a member of National Institute of Medicine and counsel to President. Dr. Ghohestani’s outstanding work and dedication to excellence have earned him numerous honors and peer recognitions including the American Skin Association Career Award, the Dermatology Foundation Career Award, the Charles Grupper Prize by the French Society of Dermatology, the Stelwagon Award for Best Publication by the College of Physicians of Philadelphia and the Commitment to Professionalism award by the Pennsylvania Medical Society. Dr. Ghohestani is skilled in the art and science of skin care, dermatology and surgery. He continually searches for and implements the best treatment options for his patients. Dr. Ghohestani has published over 100 papers and abstracts in medical journals. He also served as the co-editor of the European Journal of Dermatology from 2001-2008. He speaks frequently to a variety of public and professional organizations.

Ajay K Banga is Professor and Department Chair in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Mercer University, Atlanta, GA. He also holds an Endowed Chair in transdermal delivery systems. He has a PhD in Pharmaceutics from Rutgers University, NJ. He has over 250 publications and scientific abstracts to his credit. He currently serves on the Editorial Board of 10 journals, as Associate Editor for one journal, and has served as the Editor-in-Chief for a Drug Delivery Journal. He has written three single author books and over 10 book chapters in the areas of transdermal delivery and protein formulation/delivery. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists.

Namrita Lall has completed his Ph.D from the University of Pretoria and was a visiting scientist at the University of Illinois, Chicago and Kings College London. She has published more than 100 papers in reputed. She is also the co-inventor of 12 national and international patents. At only 45, this medicinal plant scientist at the University of Pretoria is ranked in the top 1% of the global Essential Science Indicators list of influential academics who write about pharmacology and toxicology. Earlier this year, she received the Order of Mapungubwe - South Africa’s highest honour - from President Jacob Zuma, in recognition of her research. She is a finalist in the 2014 National Science and Technology Forum Award in the category that recognises the outstanding contributions of researchers over the past 10 years.

Umit Tursen was born in Turkey. He graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine as Medical Doctor. He completed the residency period of Dermatology in Ankara University, Faculty of Medicine, and Department of Dermatology between 1995-1999. He has been working in Mersin University, School of Medicine, and Department of Dermatology since 2000. He is the Professor of Mersin University, School of Medicine, and Dermatology Department. He has published more than 80 papers in reputed journals, also books and serving as an editorial board member of repute. He won Behcet’s disease research award of “The scientific and technical research council of Turkey (TUBITAK)” in 1999. He is married and he has 2 children.

Professor/Chief Consultant Surgeon, FWACS, FICS, University of Calabar/University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, (UCTH),Calabar, Nigeria. Served as the Head of Department of Surgery, University of Calabar, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, and Dentistry and currently Provost College of Medical Sciences. His major research interest is dermatological oncology. Head of the Oncology unit of UCTH, Calabar, Nigeria. He pioneered research resulting in over 80 publications.

André C. Amaral is adjunct professor at Universidade Federal de Goias, Center East of Brazil, teaching Nanobiotechnology and Introduction to Biotechnology classes. He began his career as a research on the Biological Sciences while developed his graduation in Biology, and completed his Ph.D. at Catholic University of Brasilia, when he won the “2009 - Young Investigator Award” (FAP/DF, Distrito Federal, Brazil). He developed a postdoctoral stage at the University of Brasilia with the work plan “Technological development of amphotericin B-PLGA-DMSA nanoparticles: characterization (physical-chemical, morphology, biodistribution, and pharmacokinetics) and analysis for scaling up”.He has experience on investigating nanostructured sustained delivery systems for antifungal drugs and on the experimental murine models for fungal diseases (paracoccidioidomycosis and vaginal candidiasis) and bioprospection of new bioactve molecules. His interests are on nanostructured delivery systems, pharmaceutical technology, drug development, identification of bioactive molecules, and experimental murine models of infectious diseases.

Marie Trad is an Executive Medical Director, acting currently as the Medical and Scientific Drug Development lead in Neurosciences within the CNS Therapeutic Delivery Unit at Quintiles. Trad is a board certified Neurologist and qualified Neuroradiologist from the Pierre and Marie Curie University of Paris, France. She has over 25 years of CNS experience of which 11 years as a clinical Neurologist/Neuroradiologist and 14 years of pharmaceutical industry, focusing on clinical trial management, providing medical, clinical and global strategic support related to Neurology and Psychiatry trials.

Kaja is an experienced neurobiologist with a long-standing research track record in academia and the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Kaja currently serves as Associate Director of Preclinical Research at the Vision Research Center at the University of Missouri - Kansas City, School of Medicine. He is the Director of Microscopy of the imaging core facility at the Vision Research Center and also holds an appointment to Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology. His NIH-funded research program focuses on human neurological and neurodegenerative diseases, visual disorders and inflammation. Kaja obtained his B.Sc. Amina S. woods is an investigator at integrative neuroscience branch, structural biology unit, NIDA. Woods obtained her B.Sc degree in chemistry at Loyola College. After graduation, she joined Department of Pathology and went to University of Maryland Medical School and obtained her M.S. She received a Ph. D in Pharmacology and Molecular Sciences from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She has undergone Post-doctoral training in Oncology Immunology, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine (Advisor Elizabeth Jaffee). Dr. Woods received “Woman Scientist Achievement Award” from NIDA in 2011.

Jerzy Leszek is full professor of psychiatry at the Medical University in Wroclaw , Poland ,vice –director of the Psychiatry Department and head of Alzheimer’s Disease Lab. Fakhir Al-Ani has completed his M.Sc. study and PhD study from Baghdad University ,College of Medicine. School of Medicine. He spend about 30 yars as a teaching staff in medical college. He is now working in Mutah University, Medicl College as the head of Physiology & Pathology Dept. He has supervised more than 13 Ph.D thesis, and more than 23 M.Sc. thesis. He has published more than 35 papers in reputed journals.

Wang is Director of Neuroapoptosis Drug Discovery Laboratory, Department of Neurosurgery, Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Wang received her PhD from Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She did her postdoctoral training at University of Michigan and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Wang has published about 70 peer-reviewed articles and has served as the Guest Editor, Handling Editor, and Editorial Board Member for a number of peer-reviewed journals, as well as the scientist reviewer for institutes or foundations including NIH, DOD, BSF, and others, and invited reviewer for 30 peer-reviewed journals.
